WHY ETRANS · ASSURANCE

Three guarantees for professional translation

Translate · edit · review

The first draft is produced by an industry translator, the editor verifies terminology and accuracy, and the final reviewer ensures language style and formatting — eliminating machine-style literal translation and basic errors.

Term bases & translation memory

We build dedicated term bases (TB) and translation memories (TM) for long-term clients, so terminology stays consistent across documents and projects — and repeated content is not charged again.

Confidentiality & NDAs

Commercial contracts, technical materials and financial data are handled as confidential projects. We can sign a formal NDA and destroy documents by agreement once the project is complete.

Translation quality does not depend on luck in finding a good translator — it comes from a standardised process. Etrans applies uniform project-management rules to every document.

  • Requirements analysis: languages, purpose, delivery format and deadline
  • Translator matching: by industry background and document difficulty
  • Translation & editing: a senior editor checks section by section
  • Formatting & QA: layout preserved; numbers, punctuation and omissions checked

Full coverage across industries

FAQ · COMMON QUESTIONS

Questions about document translation

How is translation priced?
Written translation is usually charged per 1,000 source characters (excluding spaces) or per page/item, depending on language, technical difficulty and turnaround. Volume and long-term arrangements qualify for tiered discounts. Send the document for an accurate quote within 30 minutes.
Can you preserve the original formatting?
Yes. We support Word, Excel, PPT, PDF, CAD, InDesign and other formats, delivering translations in the same layout as the original; complex formatting is handled by professional desktop publishing (DTP) staff, so translations are ready for print or release.
How is quality guaranteed? What if there are errors?
Every project goes through translation, editing and review, managed by a single project manager. If you have questions after delivery, revisions are free until the agreed quality requirements are met; see our quality assurance.
Our materials are confidential — how is security handled?
We can sign an NDA before the project begins, transfer files through encrypted channels, restrict access to authorised project staff and delete documents on request after completion, with no copies retained.
How long does it take? Is rush service available?
A typical pace is around 3,000–5,000 words per translator per day; rush projects can be handled by a coordinated team or weekend work, depending on volume. We provide a clear turnaround with every quote.
