USE CASES · BY VISA TYPE

Shaped to each visa category

Visa types differ in their document list, language and stamping expectations. We adapt the package to your category and receiving body so that a missing item never forces a second submission.

01

Tourist & family-visit visas

Personal documents such as household registers, marriage certificates, itineraries and flight or hotel bookings rendered into English or the target language, with amounts and dates kept identical to the originals.

02

Business & work visas

Business licences, employment certificates, invitation letters and secondment letters translated in the wording expected by the receiving body, handled alongside our work permit translation to reduce requests for further documents.

03

Student visas

Certificates of enrolment and student certificates supporting a university application, with academic files such as our degree and transcript translation handled together for consistent terminology.

04

Immigration & long-stay visas

Proof of funds, asset documents and proof of relationship prepared to the immigration authority's requirements, and consistent where the same documents are used more than once.

Why visa documents need a translation stamp

Embassies, visa centres and immigration authorities normally require documents not in the local language to carry a translator’s declaration and the agency stamp as proof of origin and accuracy. Translation converts the content into the target language, whereas notarisation attests to a fact or document; they are separate services and whether both are needed depends on the receiving authority — the receiving authority’s requirements always govern.

  • Names, amounts, account numbers and dates matched to the original — never altered, merged or converted
  • Employment and business documents rendered in the wording expected by the receiving body, clearly laid out
  • Officially registered translation stamp applied where required, together with a translator’s declaration
  • Business licence and qualification copies supplied for verification on request, for full traceability

FAQ · COMMON QUESTIONS

Visa document translation Q&A

Which documents are usually needed for a visa application?
Typical items include employment certificates, business licences, bank statements, proof of funds, property deeds, household registers, invitation letters, itineraries and marriage certificates. Requirements differ by visa type and by country, so please prepare the list issued by your visa category and receiving body, and we will translate each item in turn.
Must visa documents be stamped?
When submitting to an embassy, visa centre or immigration authority, documents not in the local language are normally required to carry a translator’s declaration and the agency stamp as proof of origin and accuracy. We issue translations bearing our officially registered translation stamp and can supply our business licence and qualification copies for verification; the receiving authority’s requirements always govern.
What is the difference between translation and notarisation?
Translation converts the content into the target language, whereas notarisation attests to the authenticity of a fact or document; they are separate services. Some countries or visa types ask for notarisation or even double legalisation and others ask only for a stamped translation. Whether both are needed is decided by the receiving authority; the receiving authority’s requirements always govern.
Do you need the originals, and how long does it take?
Clear photographs or scans are sufficient — there is no need to post the originals. Standard orders are usually completed within one working day; rush orders deliver the electronic version the same day, and the hard copy is posted according to courier timescales.
Will the amounts and account numbers on a bank statement be altered?
No. We translate each entry exactly as it appears, keeping the amounts, account numbers, dates and account holder’s name identical to the original, without alteration, merging or conversion.
Can you translate into languages other than English?
Yes. We translate into English, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Spanish and more than 70 other languages, delivered in whichever language your destination country or receiving body requires.
How are fees calculated?
Visa documents are charged per page or per document, with stamping included at no extra cost; language, page count and layout complexity may affect the price. Send us your documents and we will give an exact quote within 30 minutes.
